What are the materials used for my braces?
The materials used for braces today can be unnoticeable or traditional like the metal braces used for a long time. Brackets are a section of the braces connecting to the teeth – they are now smaller and occasionally attached to the back of the teeth making them inconspicuous.
Bracket materials range from plastic, ceramic, metal, or a composite of these materials. Patients can have the options of clear brackets or color of the teeth. There are color options for brackets, as well as shapes and sizes.
